In an appropriate follow-up to yesterday’s article, CRN contributor Justin Edwards writes:
Changed behavior saves no one. It is only the grace of God, by the new birth, through repentance grounded in godly sorrow and faith alone in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross that leads to our salvation. The result of our justification is consequentially our sanctification – that is, we are made new creations in Christ and will grow in our hatred of sin and the things of this world as we grow in our affections toward God exemplified by our love and obedience to Him.
