Phil Shepherd aka the Whiskey Preacher tells us he’s “Church Planter of The Eucatastrophe,Outlaw Preacher, Speaker, Writer, Consultant, Paranormal Investigator, and Follower of God Through The Way Of Jesus.”
Below we take a shot of the Whiskey Preacher’s first vidcast of the emerging church of the future. And as always with these emerging “pastors” we must also [...]

More detail in this post here.

Emerging church pastor Doug Pagitt pays a visit to CRN contributor Mike Ratliff’s blog. More detail here.

Doug Pagitt just can’t seem to leave well enough alone and decided to get into it with CRN contributor Mike Ratliff. In this piece you’ll see another example of the smug, condescending attitude of the so-called loving and tolerant ones toward Bible-believing Christians.

Pagitt pontificates concerning CRN contributor Chris Rosebrough on his radio show Sunday.

A look in this post at more man-centered godless myths and old wives’ tales (1 Timothy 4:7) being spread by such as these while they romanticize apostate (at best) Roman Catholic mystics with their reimagined pietism in contemplative spirituality.

Some important information concerning emerging church pastor Erwin McManus built around a post by Phil Johnson.

You may be surprised to find out who it is here.

A short discussion in this piece about Selmanovic’s new book, which gives us a peek at where the emerging/ent/ence church is heading, and would be better titled: It’s Really All About Making God Into Our Image.
The evangelical community has been foolish to embrace such as these and allow them to corrupt your young.

In this piece built around an excellent post from Phil Johnson we discuss ch-ch-ch-changes are ahead for the Emerging Church and its Emergent/ence Christianity, which along with Rick Warren, was launched by Leadership Network.

No doubt Tony Jones has had his distractions; but this past year, in my view, it really seems Jones’ work has deteriorated quite a bit.
And for someone who’s supposed to be a cutting edge theologian, I often find his reasoning process becoming increasingly shallow as you’ll see here in this piece where he simply rules out a priori anyone who would take a so-called [...]

Will Rob Bell Jump Now?

An interesting question, and a little reductio ad absurdum here.

Emerging church leader Tony Jones begin to reveal in this post how the pro-gay agenda within evangelicalism hopes to side-step the sin of homosexuality.

We file this under False Prophetess Alert. While really putting the ei in eisegesis in the video below “Christian music artist and women’s speaker” Monica Dennington leaves any semblance of reality as she shares “Session Eight of Tic Toc Ministries groundbreaking seminar, The Seven Spirits Of God!”
The intro for the video tells us:
she goes straight to [...]

As you’ll see in this post Samir Selanovic defies emerging church czar Tony Jones and links to Ken Silva. Also you’ll find out that Selmanovic, an intregral part of the emergent church, believes the movie Avitar makes “a metaphor for ending Christian spiritual conquest/imperialism”.

Seems so, according to Pagitt himself, as you’ll see here.

New Age teacher Marianne Williamson seems to be in the holiday spirit, or at least in some spirit, as she just tweeted a “Christmas” message:
Mary is a symbol for our soul, which is impregnated by Spirit. Then a new being emerges: mothered by our humanity and fathered by God.
Whew, talk about a Scripture twist. Rick [...]

John Chisham, CRN correspondent and pastor of River of Life Alliance Church in MN, has an interesting response to a piece today by emerging church heretic Tony Jones where Jones writes:
I do not consider Mary’s virginity to be important primarily to preserve the doctrine of Jesus’ sinlessness.
More detail and the link here.

For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully. (2 Corinthians 11:4)
Take for example this tweet tonight  from emergent church “pastor” Nanette Sawyer:
It’s so hard, impossible really, [...]

Make no mistake, Samir Selmanovic is no lightweight; his bio tells us he’s actually “been integral to the birth of emerging church movement.” You have to see the video for yourself in this post to believe it.

As another indication of the way gay affirming “outlaw preacher” Jay Bakker is growing in stature within the emerging church consider the following Tweet from Samir Selmanovic:
Favorite preachers @RevererendVince and @JayBakker & http://www.revolutionnyc.com have new store. Spice for Christmas!
Seems “pastor” Jay Bakker’s “church” is experiencing financial problems meeting expenses, such as salaries for Bakker, and for his assistant “pastor” Vince [...]

See the loving and tolerant ones within Liberalism 2.0 share some love in this post…sort of.

More on Presiding Bishop of the dying ELCA and his stupid statement.

You’ll get the link in this post to a source paper produced by the Georgia Baptist Convention of the Southern Baptist Convention recommending Richard Foster and teaching us Lectio Divina from an alleged “insightful” book by Tony Jones.

Find the details here.
