Should Christians be “Torah Observant”?
Published April 11th, 2007 by Jon Cardwell in Christian Life, Rabbinic JudaismWith the rising interest over the past few years in the Hebrew origins of our Christian faith, the question comes up, “Should Christians be Torah observant?”
My friend, John Parsons of Hebrew4Christians, offers some interesting perspectives from his article “Should Christians Be Torah Observant?” When you read it you’ll want to keep in mind that John is a Hebrew teacher at heart, so everything on his site comes from a Hebrew or rabbinical perspective. Be prepared to learn.
Additionally, there are many strange, unscriptural doctrines coming forth from teachers within the “Hebrew Roots Movements.” Getting a basic handle of Hebrew from John’s site can be helpful in discerning some of the false teachings that are becoming prevelant in the movement in these last days. Shalom.
