Rick Warren’s Situational Ethics Avoids Condemning Gay Death Penalty
Published December 1st, 2009 by Editor in Purpose Driven, Rick WarrenEven Newsweek can see the implicit maneuvering by America’s Pastor, Rick Warren, regarding his unwillingness to speak against proposed Ugandan legislation that calls for the death penalty for certain homosexual acts. Warren claims that “…it’s not my calling…to comment or interfere in the political process of other nations.”
Obviously Rick Warren is trying to hide in the shadows between the definitions of “participating” and “interfering”. Kind of like the difference between “smoking” and “inhaling”.
