Former Roman Catholic priest, Richard Bennett, provides an update on the convergence of the Emerging Church movement with Roman Catholicism through contemplative spirituality.

Richard Bennett reviews the leaders of the EC movement. Bennett reveals the reason why Tony Jones fell from power as a leading light of the movement in 2008. Bennett also details Jones’ heretical teachings and acceptance of homosexuality by the church. Teachings that are gaining traction within evangelicalism through the Emerging Church movement.

Bennett highlights the lack of resistance to this “toxic” movement. He makes an appeal to seminary students in the UK to use the Internet to contend for the faith and expose the emerging church movement.
