I have remarked to friends that studying the theology of the $evangelical-“it’s all about me!$ American Christian Church today is like wading through a spiritual cesspool. In this article at Apprising Ministries I point out that some will remember I tried to get current Southern Baptist President Dr. Frank Page to intervene when Word Faith mogul and Oneness Pentecostal heretic T.D. Jakes was brought in to share an SBC pulpit–again!

Long story short, nothing was said publicly and Jakes was allowed to preach in a blatant violation of 2 Corinthians 6:14. O silly fools like Athanasius; he shouldn’t have risked his life to defend proper theology. No, the merry modern $evangelical$ leaders would have told him, “Doctrine divides, but love (of self) unites.” What follows is Dr. Young’s exposition of the cardinal doctrine of the Christian Church known to many as the Holy Trinity. And you figure it out; based on paragraph one from his sermon Saturday, April 14, 2007, would Dr. Young’s understanding of the nature of God the same as the Mormon Missionaries who knock on your door, or is it the modalism of T.D. Jakes as in paragraph two?
