A ‘ministry’ in Irvine, Califorornia, inspired by Rick Warren and his man-centered teachings is offering memorial services for seniors that are still alive.

“Why wait to shower loved ones with appreciation and share in their laughter — and tears? Why not celebrate, dance, and take a stroll down memory lane together now?”

This makes perfect sense. Rick Warren has been teaching a legion of people in south Orange County how to love themselves through his Purpose-Driven teaching. Many of those people are growing old and don’t want to have to die to have people come and say nice things about them. This is just more proof that the first sentence of the Purpose Driven Life “it’s not about you” is a complete joke.
