Wow! Wait until the emerging church of culture-craving gets wind of this news. McConaughey’s getting all spiritual now that he’s having a baby out of wedlock:

"Got some blessed news … a celebration of life and bounty … a newborn concieved (sic) … yes, my girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together," McConaughey wrote.

Yeah, so here’s an excuse chance for some in the Emergent Church to hang around yet another worldly celebrity! Cool. And CRN finds it interesting how amazingly similar McConaughey sounds to some of these new breed emerging church pastors with mutually exclusive views like praising God (Creator) for evolution (no Creator):

"We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being a mother and a father," he said.

McConaughey goes on to say, "Wish us the best, keep us in your prayers, and God bless evolution."
