Richard Abanes has made two very telling statements regarding his UNSUBSTANTIATED ALLEGATIONS of libel.

It is an undeniable fact, that Richard Abanes, has yet to substantiate a single allegation that Ken Silva’s article “A Pastor’s Assesment of Richard Abanes” actually libels him according to the legal definition of libel. Furthermore, Abanes has made it clear that he has no intention of giving any specifics when it comes to this issue. Yet Abanes said:

“Those who need to know exactly what I found to be problematic in Silva’s article already know the specifics. I am not bound by anything/anyone to do anything more than what I have already done.”

If that statement were true then we would expect that BOTH iPower AND Ken Silva were informed about the specifics regarding Abanes’ allegations of libel. But, that is not the case at all. In fact, neither party has been given the specifics in regards to Abanes’ allegations. Regarding iPower, Abanes wrote:

“As for as me not emailing to iPower anything to substantiate my allegation of libel, which is prohibited by their TOS, I certainly would have done so if IPOWER had merely asked me to do so. But they didn’t.”

As for Ken Silva knowing the specifics, Silva said:

“However, the fact is I do not know them because Richard Abanes has never ever made “the specifics” of this unsubstantiated allegation of libel known to me.”

How is it possible that “those who need to know exactly what [Abanes] found to be problematic in Silva’s article already know the specifics” if NEITHER iPower nor Ken Silva know what those specifics are?

Since both parties were directly involved in the incident wouldn’t it make sense that they would be told the specifics regarding the allegations of libel?

Who did Abanes tell the specifics to and why did he cut out those directly involved out of the information loop? This doesn’t make a bit of sense. Doesn’t a person who has been accused of wrong doing have a right to know what charges they are being brought up on? Of course they do! That is why this whole fiasco is such a farce.

I stand by what I’ve already said. The reason Richard Abanes isn’t giving the specifics regarding his allegations of libel is because he cannot produce any real evidence to substantiate his claims that libel actually took place.
